'River-daughter - New Watercolour Painting

“Heed no nightly noises! for nothing passes door and window here save moonlight and starlight and the wind off the hill-top.”

This is a new watercolour painting that I painted of Goldberry from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings book. Although Goldberry appears only briefly in the story, her character always fascinated me. I love how Tolkien described Goldberry in detail. I just recently reread the chapter 'In the House of Tom Bombadil' and I was inspired to paint this painting.

This original framed watercolour painting is available in my Etsy shop.
